Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
I sail the Delaware, Mullica, Bass Rivers, Lake Nockamixon, the Great Bay-Barnegat area, short coastal jaunts off Long Beach Island, N.J. One of these days I'll get to the Chesapeake. Okay, what is everyone's port of call: I am in Southeast Texas and slip in Port Arthur and sail Sabine Lake (a sal****er tidal lake) and eventually the Gulf of Mexico, which is just a 6 mile sail south. Of course there are some very capable boat yards in Urbanna too. We've sailed all around that area, the Rappahannock is one of our favorites. Except for the traffic going in and out of Deltaville... boat & car both... Fresh Breezes- Doug King |
