Does no good to make a reply like that when all they have to do is a
search to see where you have said "Plowville" at least a thousand times... There really is a Plowville? Hummmmmm...... |

But there is definitely a Plowville, Penn. DSK |

Actually, Mike and I have been land cruising the west coast of the US
for the past two months, tent camping, yurt camping, hotel camping and staying with friends and family. We will continue sailing Mexico next October once the hurricane season is over. For a quick re-cap of last season… We sailed down to Mexico in October stopping in Cabo, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo and all the little coves and villages in between. Then, we sailed back up to the Sea of Cortez spending time in La Paz, Loreto, Mulege and finally stopping in San Carlos where (hopefully) Arabella will be safe from any hurricanes that may brew up this season. We look forward to next season where we will spend a lot more time exploring the many beautiful anchorages in the Sea of Cortez. I can't wait! Nope... Cajuns are Acadians... they'll want to annex Nova Scotia.
Read about the expulsion of the Acadians for the history. The Congres Mondial Acadians is celebrating 400 years of Acadian Heritage here this summer. John,
We are a Group of sailors that are more or less happy with one another. We don't really fit into a "Mold" I like to think of us as a group of sailors in the "Club" bar, after the races letting our hair down, so to speak. There is a lot of sailing knowledge in the group but we're not going to be bound to it. As you can see right now with our politics. We spend a lot of time on BS like any sailor after a "Few Drinks" at the bar. We are Opinionated, (Oh Yes) I do think we all admit to it!! We accept the fact that not " Everyone cannot be as Brilliant as Me" and make allowances. It makes for good discussions. That is my thought of the group, I'm sure other see it differently. We've lost some damn good sailor because of it but we have made some very good 'Net friends. and we are friends. So, I think you are aware of who we are and we welcome you to our (Clique) and it is a clique but a open clique. If you came to us looking for sailing knowledge you can find it BUT you better have a thick skin. If you just want information there are other groups that will suit you better. WE ARE NOT THE COAST GUARD AUX. Welcome John! I like your new (USED) boat. It's a beauty Ole Thom SV Pneuma Gulf 29 Pilothouse Sloop Moored Gate 9, Squalicum Harbor Bellingham, Wa |
