John,
We are a Group of sailors that are more or less happy with one another. We don't really fit into a "Mold" I like to think of us as a group of sailors in the "Club" bar, after the races letting our hair down, so to speak. There is a lot of sailing knowledge in the group but we're not going to be bound to it. As you can see right now with our politics. We spend a lot of time on BS like any sailor after a "Few Drinks" at the bar. We are Opinionated, (Oh Yes) I do think we all admit to it!! We accept the fact that not " Everyone cannot be as Brilliant as Me" and make allowances. It makes for good discussions. That is my thought of the group, I'm sure other see it differently. We've lost some damn good sailor because of it but we have made some very good 'Net friends. and we are friends. So, I think you are aware of who we are and we welcome you to our (Clique) and it is a clique but a open clique. If you came to us looking for sailing knowledge you can find it BUT you better have a thick skin. If you just want information there are other groups that will suit you better. WE ARE NOT THE COAST GUARD AUX. Welcome John! I like your new (USED) boat. It's a beauty Ole Thom SV Pneuma Gulf 29 Pilothouse Sloop Moored Gate 9, Squalicum Harbor Bellingham, Wa |

Ole Thom Thanks, I enjoy the "on topic" and "off topic" post here. There is something about sailors. They are removed from the rest of the mere humans; in an odd unexplainable (but good) way. You said his is like a bar! Cooooool! Bartender, a round for everyone and put it on my tab........ Make mine a double ;-) John "26 Again" |

Per is in Nova Scotia or underway and we might here from him in the
future. Wrong...Per is a Scandinavian turnip and comes from the eastern half of the North Atlantic and sometimes sails the Baltic....(we share a brain, remember?) Babs is in Florida breaking hearts and taking names. Babs is not in Florida....she still resides in Colorado but makes short tip trips to FL to keep an eye on Neal....
