Ah.... well, I don't sail backwards on a mooring. I saw a guy try that
once in Cane Garden Bay, BVI. Actually, he was trying to position his boat to watch the sunset. He attached the mooring line to a stern cleat, then proceeded to get it caught between the rudder and the keel. We helped him get it uncaught, then he honored us with Don Perion and letting us look at his very hot, bikinied girlfriend. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "gonefishiing" wrote in message ... oh i apologize there seemed to be a discussion on this group about some habit that i am unfamaliar with: namely sailing backwards on your mooring thought you would know something about that "Jonathan Ganz" wrote in message ... Mooring? I keep my boat in a slip in Sausalito. I teach there as well as on a lake. |
