ever see anyone on a charter that wasn't motoring 95% to 100% of the
time?

No.

Except for the flogging charter boat sails take when someone tries for
half an
hour "to sail", charter boat sails are still brand new when the boat comes out
of service.

Yea, sails that spend their life near the equator, getting used almost every
day are still brand new after 5-7 years of charter boat service.
Jaxass as I've told you before you know nothing about boats, cars or women.

charter boat sail **covers** get used everyday. charter boat *sails* don't get
uncovered but for maybe 30 minutes a week most every week during the six-month
season.

charter boat sailing is to sailing as sitting on a park bench is to motorcycle
riding.

That's it jaxxies... repeat it often enough and ... Nah! nobody will believe
it anyways.

How's the Irwin 32 today... light enough air to try raising canvas?

That's a load of crap from the one who knows nothing. I have friends that
usually charter with us who last January got their own boat. They are
powerboaters and they sailed every day. They would probably be considered
least likely to sail by a nitwit like you.

loco, renting a canoe from the Parks Dept is not most people's idea of
"chartering".

Have you ever seen a charter base at changeover? Hundreds of boats powering
back home in 15 knot winds, the next day hundreds of boats powering out to
Anchorage #1 or #2 in 15 knot winds.

Jaxxie thinks the entire fleet comes in on Friday Night and leaves on
Saturday Morning... repaired cleaned and provisioned.
It's obvious he hasn't been to the BVI's!!

Many of the charterers are in a hurry to get a mooring, because
they have never anchored before. Anchoring to a novice is some
mysterious task that one can never have confidence in. It feels
much safer to a novice, to pay $20 for a mooring. And the closer
to the shore the safer they feel. So they must hurry in to get a
good one. It becomes a race to drop sails and motor in ahead of
the boats sailing. Places like "The Baths" with limited moorings
mean the sails never go up and people motor the whole way.

This I've seen many times in the BVI!
