The Moorings
You've never... that's obvious!

The Moorings
Many of the charterers are in a hurry to get a mooring, because
they have never anchored before. Anchoring to a novice is some mysterious task that one can never have confidence in. It feels much safer to a novice, to pay $20 for a mooring. And the closer to the shore the safer they feel. So they must hurry in to get a good one. It becomes a race to drop sails and motor in ahead of the boats sailing. Places like "The Baths" with limited moorings mean the sails never go up and people motor the whole way. This I've seen many times in the BVI! Capt. Mooron wrote Jaxxie thinks the entire fleet comes in on Friday Night and leaves on Saturday Morning... repaired cleaned and provisioned. It's obvious he hasn't been to the BVI's!!
