Default Honey Barge ???

Does it stink too?

Michael wrote

There's a company known as the "Honey Bucket." They just serviced our

ship.
In Korea the locals fertilized the fields with 'honey ditches.' The

nearest
equivalent to a honey barge today is . . . . . . a self propelled barge

on
the Elizabeth River (runs between Norfolk and Portsmouth into the Chessie.
It has a phony Y __ designation like the Navy uses and is formerly

named
the 'William Jefferson Clinton.' But not to take umbrance, it IS a flat
top!

There you go, I'll give you a point for that. 1 point.

I've read they were used to collect garbage. I'd thought
that garbage was simply tossed in the sea in the old days,
but perhaps not in port.

I would think the nearest analogy would be a "pump-out" boat.
They are common in Connecticut.

Default Honey Barge ???

At the Ballard Mill Marina they have a portable pump out tank on wheels. No
need to bring boat to a specific spot, instead bring the "Honey Hauler" to
the boat. Sort of like the mountain and what's his name.

Where's Ballard you might well ask?

Well here's a clue. A Seattlite visited Norway. Local wit asked him,
"Where you from by golly yah" Seattite answered, "Seattle, Washington in
the United States!". "Yah by golly, don't know it. Anywhere near Ballard?"

So now you know and the points question is: "What Irish Bar in Ballard is
famous for an almost 100% Norwegian clientele?"

That's gotta be worth . . ...one and two and carry the big toe and . . ..
.."HOW many points is that Bart?"

A "Honey Barge" is any vessel, self propelled or towed, which is used to
transport/pump, human waste.
In NYC there is one which is self propelled which is used to take either
sludge or raw (not sure which) either to sea for dumping, or to another
place ....again, not sure which.
Ships will rarely if ever need to use one, as they have their own self
contained systems.

THanks for the mammaries...

How titillating

When faced with mammaries fluoresecent,
Nav, I fear, is detumescent:
He finds it merely titillates...
Is it age that militates?

Broken meter. 5/10 Must try harder (geddit?)
