The CG was broadcasting (on 16) a NtM, today, seems they 'found' a 5'
section of a sailboat bow off Point No Point MD (mouth of Potomac R. ) . Asking boaters to be on the lookout for bodies in the water. -- Scotty S/V Lisa Marie Balt. MD USA |

I'll never understand creeps like Scotty Potty who get their jollies by listening to the disasters on the radio. RB |

I'll never understand creeps like Scotty Potty who get their jollies by
listening to the disasters on the radio. RB Umm Bubbles, my understanding is that it was a securite call Scotty recently commented that it was "fun" to listen to a boat that had run aground. I said "wonderful" to his horrific pleasures and the scumbag was totally busted. What an asshole Scotty Potty is. RB |

Right on, Joe. Since I got my nice handheld, I listen to it in the cockpit.
Scan 16, 9, 22. Better than TV. Lots of funny stuff, some serious too. On Sat., wind was 10~15kts, a sailboat called for a tow because he ran out of fuel. booby? SV "Joe" wrote in message om... RB Bobspirt, I too often listen to 22 alpha to hear of the lubbers in peril on the sea. Some of it has me ROTFLMAO. Some of it is serious and worth listening to. On a lonely late hour watch it can be very entertaining. One of my favorites was a boat taking on water thru the head here in the bay. On all securite and Pon Pon messages you need to listen. Its amazing what some lubbers think an emergency is. And is wise to scan 22 perhaps you might pick up a signal offshore that is to weak for the USCG to hear. During really fast big heavy squalls here I usually swith to 11 and listen to all the barge and ship traffic. Usually no one is hurt but you hear some great sea stories. Joe |

Could have been someone trying to collect insurance on a Mac26 that they
couldn't unload. Running aground has the potential to be "serious" but you thought it was fun. You remain a scumbag. RB |
