Face facts, folks....
Jim appears to have his Mac 26M. Could be someone elses boat, but that would
make him pretty pathetic.
Congrats on your new boat, Jim. Remember, several people here own bottom drawer
boats and enjoy them (Hunter, Coronado, Beneteau 1st Series and even a
Siedlemann!), so don't listen to any more crap. Regardless of what folks say
here, I hope you enjoy your new boat and sail safely.

Good luck,

RB

No he does not. Jim is a Faker, sockpuppet at best.
He post a picture then claims it is at a different marina on 2094.

The marina he says the boat is at is west not south of watergate.
The marina he claims to be at has floating docks.

The marina the Mac picture is HYC, been there to many times and I know
the exact house in the background with the van parked in front. Been
there looking at the great view fouled by the crappy barren un
maintained HYC. Look at the lighting fixture on the dock, typical HYC,
broken bulb and missing cover ect. Note the bulkhead work in the
background and small private dock, Ive stood on that very dock. The
house behind the Van is quite unique and I can reconize it in any
picture, Ive been thru the place a few times. The builder made faux
tree trunks for the stilt system on the bayfront. There is not another
house like it anywhere. Jim did not and still does not know who puts
on the Wen. night races, every local and surely someone docked near
Watergate will know who puts on the races. Then he claims to be plate
owner 120 of 310 on the Elissa, that means they raised a total of 110K
not enough money to even dry dock the Elissa once.
On top of that he was a no show for the race. Claims he can plane a
mac with sails, ect........and its clear he's not a Texan.

Joe,

My boat isn't in League City. It is in Kemah, in the Gulf Coast Sailing
Center.

Regards,
Jim

Joe,

Let me ask you a geometry-navigation question.

When I leave my dock, I head north toward the lake (Clear Lake). After
going about 150 feet north, I start passing the Watergate slips, on my
port, and I see their headquarter building on my left (port). I then
pass JM Yachts, Sackett Sailing, another dealer, and then, at the wall,
I turn to port, and then turn to starboard at the gate and follow the
Watergate channel out toward the main channel heading toward and under
the Kemah bridge. I then continue past the Kemah restaurants and follow
the channel out into the bay.

Now here's the geometry question: If I have to go NORTH from my dock to
get to Watergate, woudn't that suggest that my dock is SOUTH of
Watergate?

It might suggest it, but it doesn't make it a fact.

Thanks Bob. I'll certainly try to do my part in upholding all the great
sailing traditions, beginning thousands of years ago, that have played
such a significant role in spreading civilization and culture throughout
the world.

So, when do you propose to start your career of rape, pillage,
plunder, slavery, piracy, empire-building, dissemination of STDs,
economic disruption and promotion of liberal politics?

Tad,

Think of it this way. - Where would you be, and where would the world
be, had we not benefited from the contributions of early sailing vessels
and the crews who risked their lives to sail on them? Early sailing
vessels spread knowledge, culture, scientific developments, medical
advances, the renaissance, etc., from country to country, greatly
accelerating advances in such fields throughout the world. Granted that
the individuals involved didn't have the highest principles or the most
unselfish motives, without them as a collective force, the world would
still comprise a series of isolated city states, with little interchange
of ideas or culture. - No TV, no air-conditioning, no Barnes and Noble,
no sport cars, no airlines, no Margaritas, no symphony orchestras, no
Rolling Stones, no auto steering or roller reefing, no digital cameras,
etc., etc.
