One of the considerations that made the single line the right choice

The issue I have with single line reefing is that it takes up luff tension first and it can be difficult to get the clew cringle set out & down hard enough. Good idea to check the lines often. Same for roller furling. BTW do you reeve a back up line through the clew cringle once the reef is made up? I have seen this in lessons but never done it in real life.
