Sometimes, when Lisa & I go sailing, our dog left at home, doesn't eat for
the first day or two.

I don't...after years of working with animals, you realize that there are
those that become so emotionally upset over something new and uncertain
that
they shut down. Soemtimes this happens with trips to the vet or groomers,
sometimes from forced trips in a vehicle if the animal has not been
trained
to travel comfortably....it's not a rare thing at all...
