Sometimes, when Lisa & I go sailing, our dog left at home, doesn't eat for
the first day or two. Scotty "katysails" wrote in message ... I find the not eating bit hard to believe I don't...after years of working with animals, you realize that there are those that become so emotionally upset over something new and uncertain that they shut down. Soemtimes this happens with trips to the vet or groomers, sometimes from forced trips in a vehicle if the animal has not been trained to travel comfortably....it's not a rare thing at all... -- katysails s/v Chanteuse Kirie Elite 32 http://katysails.tripod.com "Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." - Robert A.
