I wasn't leering, just asking a question.

That's great. Really. My daughter is a nurses aide, while going to nursing
school (sometimes). Scotty "Maxprop" wrote in message nk.net... "Scott Vernon" wrote in message what is she doing now? She's an RN. Max |

"Scott Vernon" wrote in message That's great. Really. My daughter is a nurses aide, while going to nursing school (sometimes). She'll have no trouble finding work--the nursing shortage continues at unprecedented levels. My daughter recently left her hospital post to take a job doing in-home infusion therapy in order to have weekends free for her family. Her experience on this job should be quite valuable if she goes back to hospital work some day. Max |

We should see if we could trade 'em for, say, Singapore, Rio, and ummm... trying to think of another big city I've liked... Sydney. Oz seems to think it's perfect. It's pretty bloody close as capital cities go. Great. We'll take it. How does Miami sound in trade? We'll give you Ceduna for Miami. No we bloody well won't, you damn' ex-Sydney rat parasitising the poor green Tasmanian innocents. *Smirk*. Thank you for your tax dollars supporting my lifestyle. Oh wait, you're in SA, another parasite on the body politic......... at least we have forests and potable water. It'd ruin the fishing. Might offer Marla Bore roadhouse, though. It's *that* bad? I have un-fond memories of Ceduna & Thevenard. Of course it might have something to do with spending 4 weeks in the Bight and one day ashore, getting tossed out of the pub well after closing by the local coppers and then finishing off with Bundyback aboard ship. We left one of the trawl doors behind off the pier - skipper was a bit under the weather, too. You'll be pleased to know that the CCA treated pine gunwhales are working out just fine. All in all it would have been faster to build a new daysiler but I knew that before I started. Seen Jeff Gilbert's Cataphylla design? Put it on your project list for the future. Jeff's got sufficient sense to move to Tasmania too. PDW |

Might offer Marla Bore roadhouse, though. It's *that* bad? Indeed. Haven't been to Ceduna since my National Parks days, lo these many years ago. Even then my chief memory, apart from the abusefest we flew in for, was of a grass airstrip laden with cattle who's been buzzed so many times before they'd only move off if the plane went over less than 10 feet above them. Oh, and the fact that the strip was on a slant and kept falling away as the pilot tried to put the plane down. You'll be pleased to know that the CCA treated pine gunwhales are working out just fine. All in all it would have been faster to build a new daysiler but I knew that before I started. I have a good daysailer plan available you could build in your spare moments. Seen Jeff Gilbert's Cataphylla design? Put it on your project list for the future. Jeff's got sufficient sense to move to Tasmania too. No, haven't...I'm outta touch and likely to remain so for a few months yet (until work does its inevitable cyclic dryup.) BTW...Bundyback? you should have known better than to be entertained by the local ladies while on the rum... -- Flying Tadpole ------------------------- Faint echoes, sometimes inaudible, of the newsgroup's glorious past are downloadable at http://music.download.com/internetopera |

Ya must've had a real good suntan and empty pockets ;-) Nah. They just knew he was from Sydney and expressed their opinions. -- Flying Tadpole ------------------------- Faint echoes, sometimes inaudible, of the newsgroup's glorious past are downloadable at http://music.download.com/internetopera |
