Just love those big 'windows' facing forward!

Me to, can see were Im going, see if anyone screwing around on my dock
if your talking about danger then look closely and you will see 4 wing
nut bolts on each window, I have steel sheilds that I can install in 2
min. flat.

Joe, your big windows facing forward will come in handy for you to
watch me passing you on the way to Red Fish Island. I'm temporarily
grounded because of deadlines at my office and the recent thunderstorms
here in Kemah, but I hope to see you in a few weeks.

Jim

Grounded? You wuss. Big talking wannabe. You said you were ready for
some serious sailing. I remember a 75 knot braggart. The thunderstorms
here havent been over 60 knots you puss. You starting to sound like
Johanthan.

Meet me at the kemah boardwalk at 5PM tommorow I be heading out for
cool eve sail. Dont matter what the weather is like I take you on to
redfish and back, or the morgan point light tower and back for our
bet. I have some dupons for the Aquariun if that will help you get to
the start,

Joe

So when you wanna race macboy?

Cheers

Looks better than the average Beneteau, wouldn't you say? Hopefully, Joe will
be forthcoming on the details of this interesting vessel

You carry spare wing nuts in your wetweather gear in case you drop all
of them as you hold onto the "steel shields" while hanging on to the
boat in a storm, while trying to screw the wing nut on with your free
hand?

Why yes I do! Thanks for asking.

But im smart enough to keep up with the weather and sea state.

I will mount the shields well before they are needed, I will not wait
to be in the thick of it before I mount them. Most likey just after
hoisting the storm jib, dousing the main and reefing the mizzen I will
mount the shields.

Thats one reason I thought they screwed the reputation of the capt of
the Lisa marie(?)in the Perfect Storm. Waiting till the wind was
80knots and the boards flying away like that, Any person expecting the
type of weather he was going to see would mount the shields asap, not
wait till he was in the thick of it. That and they had him turn to
ride with the seas, made a big deal of it, and the wave that wipes him
out comes strait at him (Flick Flub) and several other things like the
stabilizer birds poppin out of the water and flying about. It was all
for the lubber viewers to get excited about, but in doing so the film
maker discraced the skipper by making him look like a lubbery skipper
with no true skills or knowledge of his vessel and its capabilitys.

Sorry, but I have lots of issues to take care of at work and haven't
been able to get out in the last several weeks. Call me a wussy if you
want to, but I am working on the problem.
