Default Will CLR Harm Sail Fabric?

I plan to use a product called CLR, (Calcium, Lime and Rust), to
remove lime deposits from the eyelets and cleats on my sails. My
question is will this stuff harm the sails? Is it acidic? I think lime
is caustic, so anything acidic would attack lime. But is this the case
with CLR? Will it eat up the fabric?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron Patterson
