Default More miles than Donal!

You're Rigth, Nutsy;

A sailor can be rated by the kind of boat he sail and how he sails it.

A boat in the thirty foot range, with full cruising set-up. Cabin,
galley, bunks, head, really isn't a day sailer. It does make you wonder
what kind a person that does that kind of sailing, considers themselves
sailors and has the right to rate other sailors. They are certainly over
boated.

An O-day Day Sailer and a take out order from McDonalds would answer 95%
of your sailing needs.... maybe you might make that 100%. You don't need
a Tartan to enjoy an evening sail.

Sure it is, Thom. We day sailed today. Suzanne is just over 5 months pregnant
and she was able to go below and take a cat nap while I enjoyed the freshening
breeze. When we returned we enjoyed some other below decks fun. We use the
cabin and even more so on our weekend trips.
It's up to us how we use her, but most importantly, Alien is sailed several
times a week while most boats just sit, or like Scotty Potti's boat, miss some
of the best wind of the year.
A boats accomodations offers chances at longer trips, but it's not mandatory.
We slept aboard plenty last year.

No, Thom. It makes YOU wonder. I'm too busy day sailing to worry about "how"
people use their stoves and bunks!
I just got back from a wonderful few hours of sailing. I did not make for
Europe, nor even enter NY harbor...and yet we had a great time tacking back and
forth close to home and enjoying the day!

Nutsy,

Yes,it does make me wonder. If you are so busy, why do you spend so much
time ranting about other peoples boats. Enjoy what you have. Being
jealous of people with newer boat really doesn't make sense. It sure as
hell doesn't upgrade "Derelict"

Seems to me you are trying to prove something to yourself. You must
know, after all this time, you haven't proved anything to anyone else.

You don't have to reply. Go sailing.

How is Susy holding up? Hope it doesn't get to hot this summer for her.
Do you have AC in the Apt.?

Give her my best. She & you are both in my prays every Nite. Hope you
don't mind

Ranting? A few posts in the morning do not a rant make. I was sailing most of
the day.

That's too bad. I was sailing today and this newsgroup of mostly virtual
sailors never entered my thoughts. I be sailing again today so I can set up my
jiff reefing for the season. Oh, I know....sailing a short distance to set up
the reefing isn't "really" sailing at all and reduces the build quality of my
C&C!

Nutsy,

Jiff Reefing is best set-up at the dock. Me thinks, just maybe, you're
getting "Loose with the truth " again.

It's not hard to do before a sail either Thom. You're being silly and petty
with these trolls. I'm going sailing now and so should you.

Can't do it Nutsy,

Have a luncheon engagement with a rather nice, mature lady.

Hope you have a nice sail.

Hope we both have a satisfactory encounter.
