Pawls and springs get a light coating of oil.
Everything else gets brushed with a water resistant grease such as lubriplate 130. Use sparingly. On 24 Apr 2004 19:24:37 -0700, (N1EE) wrote: What is the proper way to lubricate a winch? 1 pt |

Assuming your pawls are in good shape, you
could argue about where to use grease and where to use oil and what type. Most people would agree the key word is with repsect to the application of lubricants opjn winches is to apply lubricants sparingly. 1 point to you Marc Marc wrote Pawls and springs get a light coating of oil.
