No one got this bonus question. The answer is--
A blockhead is a term for a Norweigian. Supposedly it comes from square head, meaning square-dealing and fair. Norway is a nautical country. Today they make, or rebuild the best commerical fishing, and processing boats in the world. http://www.lofoten-info.no/history.htm#3 http://odin.dep.no/odin/engelsk/norw...ndex-dok000-b- n-a.html I have a friend who crewed on an American keeled, Norweigian rebuilt, fishing boat in the Bering Sea for a few years. They processed the fish right on the boat and reused some of the fish oil for fuel. Lots of people lose fingers, limbs, and lives in that industry.
