Yeah sure. Whatever. The fact is that the economy is limping along,
in a large measure thanks to Bush and his tax cuts for the wealthy.

I should think the kind of mentality that weighs potential lost lives from

a
gas attack from a country that had no compunctions about using gas in the
past against the potential risks of using a drug the effects of which were
not fully known. Unfortunately, the military folks making that judgment
didn't have the benefit of hindsight.

Or you can buy Jonathan's wild and unsupported claims that "profit is a
great motivator," and everybody was on the take from drug companies over a
15 year period spanning 3 presidents.

Manufacturing jobs? Who cares. I and 99% of my friends are in
high tech. Bush lost millions of jobs during his 3+ years. We have
a long way to go to break even.

Keep at it, trying to support the unsupportable. Honestly, you're

Jonathan, you just have to expand you reading universe beyond the DNC's
latest talking points. Even they have left that one behind, instead trying
to tell people that manufacturing jobs, which have been shrinking as a
percentage of the workforce for 50 years, didn't pick up in the latest
period.

Anyone who follows the US stock market will realise just how edgy and
fragile the economy is right now.
The bombs in Spain caused a massive selling wave as the US investors
prepared for more attacks, something that never happened under past
Govt when the investors had confidence in the country and its
leadership.

Who was President on April 19, 1995, and what happened on that date?

Look it up, and then tell me that with the score two to one

Two to one???? More like 4500 to 150. That's only the American lives. If
you consifer all the non-American lives, then Bush is truly a menace on a
grand scale.

Why don't you *tell* us what happened on those portentious dates?

Hey I can tell you Donal,
The first is the day AlQueda tried to demolish the WTC by setting off
a bomb in the carpark. It may have been successful if the van carrying
the bomb had been placed as planned.

The second is the day Timothy McVeigh, an American citizen , former
decorated, I believe, soldier attained notoriety by showing his
disgust at the way the US was moving.

So, I was right!

Clinton really managed to do a better job of protecting American lives
against terrorism.

Bush 4500

No, I've decided that I'll do as I please. And, I'll certainly not listen
to you, since you are no great authority on small egos. If I decide
to stop responding, it will be my decision not yours. Dave is not
quite the asshole BS or Neal were/are, so I think I have aways to

So, just to be clear, what I'm saying is that you have no power

Actually, Bill, I suppose that if anyone's guilty of feeding the trolls

it's
I. Personally, I'd be just as happy to talk only sailing.

If you were to look back, you'd find that these things usually start with
Ganz's or one of his buddies' interjecting some empty-headed political
blather with which I happen not to agree, and expecting the world to

accept
it as Gospel.

By way of example, if you were to look back over this thread, you'd find
that my first contribution to it was purely factual and had to do with who
made Agent Orange, a topic on which I have some personal knowledge.

Of course if your rule of thumb is:
OT post = something you agree with
Troll = something you don't agree with

then I expect your post looks perfectly reasonable to you.
