Default SF Bay area sailors

It appears a friend wishes to check out a particular boat in the Bay area in
the next week or two. I may go along for the trip.

Question:

What areas/marinas/boatyards/DIY boatyards in and around the area might one
want to wander on by and through if one were looking for a some serious
cruising boats that are sitting neglected on jackstands with torn blue poly
tarps on them? You know, boats available of 1/10th the asking price? [grin]

Friend wants something 30 foot minimum to 41 feet maximum, and most likely 32'
to 35'. The standard Hunter/ODay/Catalina/Bendy/Freedom/1,000 other glass
boats are not of interest to him. Taiwanese boats are not of interest to him.
Ocean passage boats are.

Anyone have ideas? Thanks.
