actually, donny, I just did an explanation of how radio compasses worked and
how to figure accuracy of output so as to not hit the granite ledges off a
fog
bound Maine coast.

.....and it was full of errors, that otn pointed out, none of which you could
counter.(uh-uh, if you didn't counter them, you couldn't counter them, pure and
simple).

you can go look it up, if you wish. particularly if there is potential you
might some day actually sail and sail a big ocean all the way left, and do it
on a boat without gazillions of electronic thingies onboard.

LOL We all ready know that electronic gizmos don't help YOU any, ole "get's
lost rounding Cape Hatteras Jax" with three GPS's.

the thread is interesing in at least one respect because we had one poster
here, jeffies I believe it was, who claimed to have used a paper sextant in
the
fog to tell his position. not sure how he kept the paper from falling apart
in
the moisture, but he said it worked just fine. This he knew because he
didn't
hit any granite ledges.

hmmmmm I think I'm beginning to see your problem ..... most of your brain
centers are not functioning. There is help for this.

Answer to your question:

I don't believe you have the capability to keep a single thought in your head
long enough to be bambozzled. I believe that even if I were so inclined it
would be waste of effort to even try.

see? who the hell could bambozzle martybaxter? he can't even understand what

Radio compasses???

I think that nobody will take you seriously about navigation issues until
you learn to get better that 10 miles accuracy out of multiple GPS sets.

you can go look it up, if you wish.

LOL! That's very funny.
Only a lunatic would waste time trying to find you that you were correct
about anything.

particularly if there is potential you

He's in good company, don't you think? After all, you failed to hit any
ledges when you found that your three GPS's all had a user error of at least
10 miles.

That wasn't an answer to my question.

Let's try again!

The question was-
"Are you really dumb enough to think that we will be bamboozled by your lame
attempts at a smokescreen?"

Let's break this question down into small, bite sized, componenents.

First, I asked if you were dumb. Are you?

Secondly, I suggested that your previous answer was a smokescreen, or a
"sidestep".

Thirdly, I wanted to know if you were so incredibly stupid, that you
thought that we wouldn't recognise your pathetic attempts to retain some
personal dignity by diverting attention from the question.

No doubt, you will answer this post with another demonstration of your
superior intellect!!! ... or perhaps you will finally recognise the fact
that there are times when you should keep quiet.

donny, the answer IS:

I think you are too dumb to be bambozzled, and so -- even if I were inclinded
to try to bambozzle you, which I am not -- I would not try because it would be
a waste of effort because you are too dumb to be bambozzled.

Don't understand it yet? jeffies wife will explain it to you.

That wasn't an answer to my question.
