"John Cairns" wrote in message ... "Michael" wrote in message ... So, in the summer do you guys sail North up towards the confluence of the lakes. Or must I sail South and then North once again? No way I can pass up meeting another .asa original! To date I've met in person Paul, Thom, and Doug. I determined that the Great Inland Seas to St. Lawrence to Hudson, with a side trip to Connecticutt, to Chesapeake, to ICW route will garner a lot more and put me at the top for meeting .asa people in person. Then of course I have to wander off to England, Sweden and back to Australia. Not only do I have relatives with a no charge mooring dock in Oz but I owe Oz Sailor for the miss from last time. Let me know if you're going to be down this way, buy ya dinner. John Cairns It will be a while. If I do the Pacific first I won't leave. Like places such as Tonga too much. One thing for sure you won't find me in the marinas and YC's on a soak up the suds coastal trip. I've got my mind set on a couple of outta the way places enroute to Oz. Juan Fernandez Islands for one. Figure 2 to 3 years? Something like that. Far as I can see the only schedule is my own. But then there's that dinner and . . .so who knows. M. |

Michael,
You're going to have to adjust your plans a little since we're hoping to = be in Fort Myers by the end of this summer.... --=20 katysails s/v Chanteuse Kirie Elite 32 http://katysails.tripod.com "Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." - Robert A. As in Florida? Excellent. That's on one end of the trans-Florida canal.
Opposite Stuart. Look at the Lats and Atts BB for Picasso who has a restaurant in Stuart and I'll send you some other names to look up in the area. None of whom are Neal or Babs! My route is down the ICW and across Florida and up to Alabama for the first year. M. "katysails" wrote in message ... Should we make it a contest. I'm currently at 7 asa'ers I've met. Loser
buys? Of course Gillygun and all his sock puppets still only count as one. And if you meet boobspit, it's minus 2 points. Scotty "Michael" wrote I'm counting I think six or seven from .asa just in the US and Canada plus five from the Lats and Atts group, plus five from the Westerly Owners and a couple more from the Cruising World group. Should be a productive voyage. |

I'm counting I think ...
... five from the Lats and Atts group, most people would sooner have a welfare family move next door. Better company, less psychotic than scooter trash. |

I'm down in Tasmania, some great cool climate sailing water and very few people. There's a visitor's mooring I own out the front of my place one bay away from the marinas & slipways if you get this far. Peter Wiley |
