Default One way charters

Hi all

There is an auction of charter weeks going on on a web site right now.
That is a pretty unusual initiative and the discounts announced seem
pretty high. However, the name of the charter company is not displayed
and that is a major factor in my decision to bid or not for one of the
cruise. I don't want to find out later that the boats are wrecks...

Does any one by any chance konw -or can guess maybe- who that charter
company can be??

The site displaying the auction is www.sailonline.com

Thank you.

There are too many charter companies to guess. I'd stay away from this thing.
First of all a charter vacation involves to many other things like airfair to
take a chance on a crap company.
Problems I have with this website "auction" : You don't know who the boat
is with, how old it is etc. If the auction selling website had nothing to hide
they would provide many more details. Sounds like some cheap charter company
attempting to get people to pay them to move their boats away during storm
season. Usually something they have to pay someone to do. My 2 cents: If you
want to do a cheap charter go with a good charter company in the summertime.
That's low season.

I am not about to provide my credit card information to bid on
anything where the seller is "unknown". It may be a good deal, but I
suspect that trying to connect for these "one way charters", aka
deliveries may be more expensive than the savings. I might be
interested in bidding if there was a bit more disclosure on the part
of the charter companies and a lot less of my personal financial
information required to bid Just my opinion.
