Even FURTHER off topic, Martin. Do you agree with Remco that long range
cruisers never carry TVs or that they can't function on a long distance cruise?

Hmmmm?

RB

I guess this has become your latest modus operandi, every time somebody posts something
you don't like you cry "Off topic, Off topic...." , do you jump up down and stamp your
feet at the same time?

I think I'll go join Doug and Katy and stop wasting my time with you for a while. After all

Heh.

YOU claimed blue water sailors do use a TV. I asked why.

You retracted your statement. No, you said, they don't use a TV, they
use a laptop, because a laptop IS a TV. Still no explanation WHY a
blue water sailor needs a TV.

Then you accused me of saying blue water sailors NEVER have a TV. I
asked you to quote that post, so far you failed to do so.

Meanwhile you still didn't answered my original question why blue
water sailors need a TV, and now you blame ME that I don't know the
answer? Heck, of course I don't know the answer, you never answered my
question!

A good troll is at least a little believable. You already admitted
you're only posting to troll, so I guess you also admit you're no

NEVER did I retract my statement. Plenty of blue water boats carry TVs and
modern flat screens make it simple. Reasons? TO WATCH TV, movies.
Dumbco...you really look dumb now! You don't see anyone else here claiming that
blue water sailors won't carry TVs for occasional use. Guess what? That also
carry nice stereos on some "blue water" cruisers as well, which weighs far more
than a TV! The Valiant at my club cruises 5 months out of the year and it has a
very nice Canton/Pioneer system aboard. A sailor carries what they want...not
what some internet flake like yourself deems acceptable!
No go off somewhere and grow some balls!

Yes, you did. First you claimed they carry a TV, then you said they

I never doubted that, although you claimed I did. You never proved
that claim. Liar.

Reasons? TO WATCH TV, movies.

As others pointed out, there is no time watching movies during a long
cross. Granted, if you're in an harbour for a long time you _might_
occasionaly want to watch TV. However, a salty environment does damage
electronical equipment, even a TV. (which is a laptop, according to
you). Then there's the problem of possible damage in heavy weather,
and it will use valuable space you need for really important things.
This is my opinion about carrying a TV, not a claim that blue water
sailors never carry one. (read this 10 times, please)

Remember, it was you who turned this is in a "Remco claimed blue water
sailors don't carry a TV" thread. Again, you can't prove that.
Period. As long you don't apologise you'll remain a liar.

Once again, I never claimed a thing, only asked a question. It's

Oops, I'm sorry. I meant to say that he was funny, not that he said
