Give it up Nutsy,
Your power tool list aboard speaks volumes about what kind of sailor you are. You've confirmed everything the group has be alway said about you It is no wonder you don't sail very far. YOU DON"T HAVE A LONG ENOUGH SHORE POWER DOCK LINE!! :^) You've BUSTED YOURSELF AGAIN. With all the power equipment aboard there no room for BEER! Its no wonder you leave the Fenders hanging on the rails, You have no room to store them. You're BUSTED again and by your own list. Give it up Nutsy. Your power tool list is about a true as your shackle on the Dock Cleat Your power washer is used to wash away the BS OT |

Hmm, most if not all of these things are kinda useless when you're
blue water sailing. Yeah...what use would a drill or soldering iron be on a sailing boat! Or a screwdriver!!! Bwahahahahaha! Remco Sock Puppet? Bwahahaha! RB |

Ah, aparantly you're not familiar with "Blue water sailing", which of
course isn't a surprise. Sure...I've only read about it and those blue water sailors NEVER need a screwdriver or soldering iron! Bwahhahahahaha! RB |

Again my appologies, I didn't realise you've problems reading. If you
study my original post carefully, you'll notice I'm talking about power tools. News flash!!!! Red alert! Cruising boats DO carry power tools. They also carry inverters and TVs and even books on tape. The powered screwdriver can be found on most boats along with the cordless drill. 12V soldering irons are pretty standard, but the gas units can be used in a pinch. You know NOTHING. Obviously. Still worse, your friends also know nothing. Bwahhahahaaha! RB |

I don't think I want to know for what you want to use the soldering iron... Poor numbnuts...hope this helps! soldering iron a device for applying heat to a joint, melting the solder so that it creates a permanent joint. |

You're confused, I guess... A dock caravan will contain these items,
even if it is an 1 million dollar "Blue water sailer", but they never leave the dock. Raffles Light is a 67 foot ketch currently crusing for 6 months with a few friends of mine aboard. Not only does it carry power tools, but there is a small workshop/bench near the generators to fix and fabricate parts. I'd be happy to send you a pic of this boat when she returns to my club in the early summer. RB |

Did you ever had a knockdown? The interiour will be a mess after that,
and that poor little TV will be smashed to pieces. Yeah! Knockdown at a single electric screwdriver flew around the cabin, killed our parrot then shot out the porthole and sank a Pearson 40! RB |

Ummm...even on the average coastal cruiser, TV's are either put away safely or well secured to a shelf. They can do stuff like this these days! RB |

No apologies necessary, Boob isn't familiar with blue water sailing beyond
what he's read in magazines.Funny, considering he claims to be an expert AND he sails within miles of the ocean. John Cairns "Remco Moedt" wrote in message ... No, most people drink because they're part of society. You probably
don't drink because you can't handle lifting the glass to your face. How long have you been using a straw? "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... I don't drink, Thom. Nor do I smoke. Sorry. Wimp! Nutsy,
Have you, in your ignorance, ever heard of an alcohol torch? Have you ever even considered press on spade electrical connections? Have you ever thought of simple hand tools like screw drivers, coping saws, keyhole saws, Hand operated twist drills, rigging knifes. Dry diver hull scrubbers These are the tool sailors carry aboard You're "BUSTED AGAIN!" Damn few voyaging sailors carry TV's. They carry books. TV&VCR's are a week-enders gimmick. Books are a trade item with other traders on long distance cruisers Once again; "YOU'RE BUSTED!" Nutsy, Go for a couple of week long trips and discover how soon those power tools and their charging units become a PITA. Even one is in the way! Again; "YOU"RE BUSTED!" Ole Thom/ Signing off this very stupid troll |

Gayanzy has a Cal 20, so this discusion, like most about sailing or cruising, is a mystery to him. Our TV/DVD fits perfectly and snug under the forward V. It also lives well aft in the quarter berth as well. RB |

And the first question they ask.... "Do you smoke?" Nope. "Good for you." That's a clear indicator of how dumb it is to pay money for your pathetic addiction. Make no mistake about it as you ARE addicted. You NEED and WANT it. How sad that you must pay both in cash and with quality of life and health. RB |

No one drinks on your boat?? Very unsailorly... one should always encourage
people to drink so as not to dehydrate. Perhaps they'll just fall overboard from tripping on one of your lose fenders. Then you don't have to worry about it. "Bobsprit" wrote in message ...
