"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... I don't drink, Thom. Nor do I smoke. Sorry. Wimp! Most people drink. They can't help it. No willpower. What a twit! Why would they want to "help it"? I *enjoy* a drink. Are you really stupid enough to deprive yourself of pleasure just so you can demonstrate your "superior" will-power? You are a victim. Yes, indeed! You are a victim of the small minded, politically correct, ignorant, poverty stricken whiners that constantly seek to prove that any form of pleasure is bad for you. You are too insecure in your own beliefs to do what *you* want to do. Therefore, you slavishly read the latest opinion polls in an effort to formulate your own thoughts. A real man would for his own opinions. A real man would not need to say things like "well regarded" to defend his standing. A real man would drink if he wanted to. A real man would smoke if he wanted to. You are a complete wimp. You are an utter disgrace to the male of the species. Smokers are even weaker. Smoking a cigarette would probably kill you. You follow their lead. You are a complete wimp! By your own admission, you are afraid to drink, you are afraid to smoke, and you are afraid to sail out of sight of land. And that's a fact. Well, there you go! Eh? Regards Donal -- |

I don't drink
That because you've used up to much space with battery operated tools and charging units!!! Maybe if you had a drink once in a while you wouldn't mind turning a screw by hand. Ole Thom |

Hmm, most if not all of these things are kinda useless when you're
blue water sailing. Yeah...what use would a drill or soldering iron be on a sailing boat! Or a screwdriver!!! Bwahahahahaha! Remco Sock Puppet? Bwahahaha! RB |

"Bobsprit" wrote in message ... While this will no doubt start a war (which I'll win again!), I thought it would be interesting to discuss the best power tools aboard and kept in the dockbox.... MUST be kept Aboard.... Makita drill...bullet proof AC Skil dril....Best for bigger jobs RotoZip kit....rarely used, but great when it's needed! Weller soldering iron B&D Cordless powerdriver with flex head...used all the time and a cheap disposable item. snip Anything else I need can usually be borrowed from the yard's shop. Your boat must be in really crap condition, if you neet to have all those tools aboard. Is it a very old boat, of does it suffer from a severe lack of maintenance? Regards Donal -- |
