Now I am worried. I think you may have just solidified my support for
Edwards No way would he support such a cruel measure I think
Doug needs to adopt a "glass is half full" perspective. Thank God so
many yankees don't have sense enough to move South

Sure, there are some "folks" that don't mind the cold weather. We call them

Geez Felton... I'm heading to minus 46 centigrade. I'll be working outdoors
for 10 hours a day!

Think about that for a while...... every molecule of moisture is frozen to
a standstill. The possibility of freezing your lungs is always there. Spit
freezes before it hits the snow. Ice fog is prevalent and it's no place for
errors or second guesses.

You thrive there... you thrive anywhere! I revel in it's fierce and
uncompromising element! Never allow temperature or primal extremes to
compromise your realm. You are either Master or Slave..... you choose!

I could do that. I'd have at least another decade.

Did I mention some time ago, we were visiting western Massachusetts
(beautiful place, a bit hilly for my taste tho') and fetched up in a
small town where the first 5 people I met were from eastern N.C. and
they were not related. I couldn't help but ask, "Why so many North
Carolinians up here?" and of course they answered "To get away from the
Yankees." Maybe they were serious!

I'd have to lock myself in the house. A gas tanker with an unknown =
chemical (per the 11 pm news last night) flipped down in PawPaw (s bit =
south of Grand Rapids) last night and they had to evacuate half the =
