Certainly not. There were gallons being pumped... Since it was a glass
boat the bilgewater should be clean (unlike a rust bucket's bilge :-P)

Bing!!

We don't have many holding tanks here. It's totally illegal to empty a
holding tank within 2(??) miles of the shore.

I suspect that I would cough loudly. After that it would depend on the
appearance of the individual. If he looked like he could kick the crap out
of me, then I would smile politely and say "Nice boat!". If he looked like
a weasel, then I would politely ask if he was aware that pumping out a
holding tank carried a large fine.

Of course, hindsight is a great thing. In reality, most of us would walk on
because we need time to sift the information.

I don't follow - are you saying its illegal to dump a holding tank, but it is
legal to direct discharge?

Yes! Although local bye-laws may(rarely) make direct discharge illegal.
It will depend on the area. If you are in a drying, fishing harbour, with a
12m tide, that flushes into the Atlantic twice a day, then having a pee
isn't going to cause a problem. However, if you are in a marina that has
lock gates, then things are completely different.

Sorry, I forgot where you're from, subject. Of course we'd both have guns,
but when one starts a conversation with, ''hey asshole'', one should always
have one hand on ones' gun.

My folks bought house from a widow who's husband had been shot dead by the
next door neighbor. The coronor's jury had ruled it suicide when they
discovered that the victim's last words were "Shut up, bitch" directed at
the shooter's wife whilst the shooter was holding a rifle. American Fork,
Utah circa 1947.
