10 glass elements in 7 groups (includes two elements with three aspheric
surfaces)

At the cost of achromatic aberrations, which you don't know, are corrected
by a pre-stressed plastic lens.

Even the finest lens systems fall victim to AA. They are a defining quality
factor for refractors and binoculars, but not much of an issue for consumer
level digital cameras.
You've clearly shown everyone what an idiot you are.

Congrats!

and takes 1.5 seconds shot to shot, while the Z1 powers up faster and can
manage just under 1 second shot to shot.

On what focus setting?

Doesn't matter. The Minolta's is presently the fastest camera for under 1K.

edge to the fuji. I actually like the S7000, but it's AF system proved
unreliable...much like Canon G1 and Olympus C50. No thanks.

Only in the wrong mode setting do you get AF problems (it doesn't focus).

Wow. You know nothing about cameras. Even with a FAL, AF encounters problems in
ANY mode, varying from camera to camera.

No, I made you look and you didn't even know of the Fuji product offerings
until you looked it up.

Pretty sad. You don't even own a camera, let alone a good one. And I caught you
because you didn't know the Fuji line.

Ahem....applause...thank you!

Good for you. Most people buy more camera than they'll ever use. Like this
meathead who's worried about chromatic aberation on a low cost digital.

Good for you. I'm sure it'll make it much easier to bust you for
sex with young boys, since the authorities will be informed as
soon as you drop off your first roll at the local Fotomat.

So, who makes the "Fujika" range of cameras?

The jury is still out.
