It is only good for the near Bahamas. Anything more than
about 200 miles offshore and the signal fades out. It
is useless in the Caribbean.

Christmas list and I was thinking about getting him a satellite radio
system. I'm curious if anyone can validate if the signal for Sirius
or Radio XM is good in his general cruising area; up and down the
coast of Florida, into the Bahamas and eventually to the Carribean.
I'd hate to buy the device only to find that he cannot use it where he
is sailing.
