The only thing Bush required, was Saddam's ongoing breach of the 1991
peace treaty, and Saddam's related noncompliance with UN resolution
after UN resolution, for twelve years. It was that noncompliance that
Bush had proof of--too much proof. The WMD would just be icing on the
cake--not needed for any honest observer of Saddam's brutal history to
justify a war, and likewise never enough for the rabid Bush-haters.
They'd just find another excuse to distrust America, and blame Bush.
Logic is beyond their grasp. France and Russia objected to the war for
the same reason that most third parties object--it conflicted with
their own interests. They had lucrative oil contracts with Saddam that
would be in question after his departure. The more I think about it,
the more I know that Bush will win reelection in a landslide next year.
Americans are willing to fight and die, and even pay billions for a
noble cause, and replacing Saddam (and his evil sons) with a democracy
is a noble cause. If democracy works in Iraq, it can spread in other
Middle-East countries from the grassroots up-not by new wars. That's
what the Muslim fundamentalists can't stand--personal freedom for the
masses--especially women. Muslim radical clerics, and especially the
dictators, hate personal freedom . What is it about freedom for Iraqis
that you don't like, Bob?

level a bit more important than having sex with an intern!

It's not the people that don't believe in Sasquatch that have to
produce the proof. It's the guy who says he saw a Sasquatch last week
trying to hump a birch tree. That's the guy who should at least provide

Bob, TW *cannot* see Bush's lies, even when he looks at a page full of them!

His loyalty gene is much stronger than his intelligence gene. In other
words, he displays the same degree of free will as an ant, bee, goldfish or,
maybe a dog.

His ability to think is totally overidden by his sense of subservience.
His independance is sacrificed on the alter of loyalty... alongside the
lives of thousands of innocent foreigners. These lost lives will act as
recruiting sergeants for thousands of suicide bombers, which in turn will
convince two wheels that even firmer action is needed. Thus, the wheel will
turn relentlessly, each act of injustice followed by an act of revenge -
which, in turn, is perceived as another injustice. Eventually, the only
people left on the planet will be two wheels and his wife, and Ahmed and his
wife. Two wheels, and Ahmed, will both kill each other (to protect
civilisation). Their wives will grow old together. The end.

Depends on how one looks at it.

It sounds to me like a very insightful and humorous
statement. It takes intelligence to make a joke like that.
It's sort of like Yogi Berra's, "Deja Vu all over again."

It takes a closed-minded and rather dull person to not
see how easily they are being used and shown to be
rather dim-witted themselves by somebody they claim
is not too bright. In other words, the joke is on you, Donal
and you're too much of a dim bulb to realize it.

Keep underestimating the President of the United States.
The more you do the more you lose any hope of advancing
your liberal agenda.
