If you had attemped to do so, it would not have been "sailing" and
instead drifing: The L.I. Sound below Greenwich, Ct., to City Island was essentially glassy all day. You're right. I took my new Kestrel wind meter out and I got 1.2-2 knots. I may try to move the boat tomorrow...maybe it'll pick up. The P33's engine is marginal with bad fuel, so I need reliable air. RB |

It was a great day up at this end of the Sound! Just got home a few minutes
ago. Really? No wind here. Water was in fact glass coming over the whitestone. Maybe you got some of that Atlantic spillover? RB |
