![]() 40 years ago this country faced the dawn of disillusion with the murder of an American President. Still worse, the killers of our elected leader never faced a jury. Many years later, a president who stole an election was sleeping at the wheel as terrorists struck our great land. As towers fell, he failed to speak to the people. Days later the American people remained disconnected from it's government. While people like Rudy Guiliani were shown to be very human and humane during this crisis, the president remained aloof, failing to reassure even the minority that voted for him. I say now that as clearly as JFK was murdered, George Bush is killing the heart and soul of America with his actions and complete lack of spirit. RB |

Funny you should compare the two - both got mucho Americans killed, in JFK's
case for naught. Maybe Bush too but the jury's still out. "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... 40 years ago this country faced the dawn of disillusion with the murder of an American President. Well, Bush isn't mush of a leader and the sooner we through him out the better.
First Bush didn't handle 911 very well shortly after the attackes. However, to his credit you were all in shock. But, yesterday, when he announced the Ben Laden problem is no longer relavent I said to myself what kind'a drugs is Bush on. Come on, Usama goes free while we go looking in the wastlands of Iraq for weapons of mass distruction, weapons that I personally believe only existed in Bush's mind... so we chases his fantacies so even more young American men and women can die. Why? Personally I think anytime we commit the best of America we should have a good soild plan of action and be sure that war will actually solve the problem we are wanted to solve. Bush didn't go to war with Iraq for a good comfimed propose nor did he have a plan for after the war or how to end the war. As for Bin Laden why would Bush give up on finding the man that admited to killing close to 3000 Americans? Sometimes I wish our leadership would have to stand up and be accountable for there actions, a vote of confidence like the governments of Enland and Canada have. |
