It was the French. Even if they were outgunned and
it would be foolish to fight, they would fire one
shot, because if they didn't their boss, Napoleon,
would punish them.

So they saying was, "One shot--for honor".

When they sank Rainbow Warrior in NZ, it was the first
French naval victory in hundreds of years.

You know why the French were against the war in IRAQ?

They didn't know who to surrender to.
