Sorry I should have said video or audio quality.

Notice how the word "matrix" keeps popping up...

Matrix is how the center channel is also derived. Based on how films are
recorded you could argue that after two or four tacks, all are Matrixed. Doesn'
t mean much. 5.1 is not 6.1.

HD-DVD
is next and that'll be around for quite a while.

EVD is next.

Same thing. EVD royalty issue is key in it's success here. We'll see how long
it takes to remaster the DVD catalogues! Meanwhile DVD progressive scan looks
excellent up to around 55-60 inches. On my 47 6X9 HD-TV it looks very
film-like, but not match for true HD Video Tape. Few movies available for that
deck, but it was a gift.

You might explain what formats you use that have eluded everyone else. For the real
world, Video CDs only hold 74 minutes of reduced resolution.

First thing Booby DVD is a **** poor bloated format much like
yourself.

The technologically advanced like myself use a compressed format that
can take a 2 hour DVD movie and archive it to one 700 meg cd-r with no
loss of audio or sound quality. Then we can format that cd to play in
most good stand alone DVD players.

You sir are a technological caveman. In the near future we will have
solid state storage systems that will have the ability to hold the
entire database of our civilization. In terms that those of your ilk
can understand we will have the capacity to store every movie, audio
CD, e-book, audio book, and photograph ever produced on a single
computer hard drive.

Jeff, I can burn entire DVDs, even over 120 minutes with compression software.
They are essentially backups and will play on any player. Software can be found
at Kaaza. It works best with a FAST machine and burner. Sometimes DTS tracks
become problematic, but the regular Dolby tracks work fine.
I don't steal movies online.
