Found this in the forum...loads of laughs!
John, we looked at the most recently built C&C 27 models and they are just awful. We can't imagine why anyone would choose one of these over the original and very pretty earlier version. The MK V was so cheap inside we knew it was really built as a daysailer. No one with any self respect would buy this boat, unless it was a cheap deal. That said, we will probably take your advice and look to the 30 or 29. Calling the 27, especially the later versions, a starter boat was being kind at best. CB |

You're right, of course. C&C 27s are not serious
boats at all. They are flimsy little pretend boats. They are entry level cockleshells to woe the uninformed. They are a danger in a seaway and a liability in a storm. They are incapable of clawing off a lee shore in a storm and they will never turn a head interested in viewing a comely vessel. Coronado 27s are Hinckleys in comparison.
