Default C&C 27 Comments

You're right, of course. C&C 27s are not serious
boats at all. They are flimsy little pretend boats.
They are entry level cockleshells to woe the
uninformed. They are a danger in a seaway and
a liability in a storm. They are incapable of clawing
off a lee shore in a storm and they will never turn
a head interested in viewing a comely vessel.

Coronado 27s are Hinckleys in comparison.

Found this in the forum...loads of laughs!

John, we looked at the most recently built C&C 27 models and they are just
awful. We can't imagine why anyone would choose one of these over the original
and very pretty earlier version. The MK V was so cheap inside we knew it was
really built as a daysailer. No one with any self respect would buy this boat,
unless it was a cheap deal. That said, we will probably take your advice and
look to the 30 or 29. Calling the 27, especially the later versions, a starter
boat was being kind at best. CB
