After all, poor marksmanship, while embarrassing, is not a crime. Most gunshot victims found this time of year are chalked up as hunting accidents, so there you have it...nothing to fear. Even dismemberments are often the result of accidents or misunderstandings. In fact, Texas is so safe that the only thing we could send our former Attorney General to prison for last week was for some sort of paperwork carelessness relating to campaign contributions. No firearms were involved. |
