Ahhhh yes! By contract, the 34XL is now mine. Still, she'll be registered in my father's name! Then she's not legally yours, she belongs to your father. Uh, so what? Who cares? How does this effect me? That's what my cousin said ... before his father sold "his" car. (c: |

That's what my cousin said ... before his father sold "his" car. (c: Too bad for your cousin. Glad I'm not him. My father and I are quite close. I learned long ago that no one "owns" anything. It's all so silly. You're on this planet for the wink of an eye. You own nothing. We're all renters here and I "rent" better than most! Bwahahahahaha! RB |

It's a matter of semantics. "Own" implies that you have more or less exclusive use of and control over the subject in question. I'm glad you're pleased with your lot in life. Many with more are not. |

Have you ever taken notice of how much of the world lives? Our cable bills could feed whole villages. Donal and Loco's lame comments over who's boat is better is just plain sad. We are all VERY lucky to have what we have. RB |

Question is, why are we not happy? Happiness is a very relative term. For some people simple mortality is enough to plague any chance for true happiness. I often envy simple folk who seem satisfied with a modest lifestyle and a hard job. I think television and the media in general programs the vast majority to constantly seek to "upgrade" every aspect of their lives. I've never upgraded anything. I only seek a new experience when I buy something new, better or worse. For me that is what's fun. This is what Donal and many others simply don't get. I taunt him with my "better boat" but in truth there's no such thing. If I owned a rowboat I'd still be a lucky fellow. A true key to happiness is genuine perspective. RB |
