The rock I struck was actually less than 1/4 mile from my slip!

Yup...my GPS says less than 1/4 mile from my club.

On my chart that rock is almost a half mile North of City I, and about a mile East. Have

Chart and GPS comfirm distance from breakwater as .23 miles. It's within sight
of my slip.

Then its not "South Nonations"! Have you figured out yet which rock you actually hit?
