Bobby, if you're not a 9-to-6'er, and you're as well off as you claim to be, then why do you haul your boat? Never claimed to be well off, pinhead! I drive a Subaru! I sail a C&C 32 from the early 80s. Buying the newer 34xl isn't that expensive either. You answered his allegations but not the root question "... why do you haul your boat?". |

You answered his allegations but not the root question "... why do you
haul your boat?". Few people go sailing around here in mid-winter. I don't particularly care for frosty sailing myself, though I used to do it on the Catalina. We even sailed in the snow, which is beautiful, but not something I seek to do often. RB |

HEY we don't want any more snowbirds down here. Especially ones like Bob.

You wouldn't have to go all the way to Florida, there are plenty of places much closer to NYC that you could move your boat for the winter months and drive or fly to the boat on long weekends or holidays. You could stay aboard so escape hotel and dining out for every meal so the costs wouldn't be outrageous. Then you could sail year 'round. If your passion for sailing is as strong as you say then I would think you would envy us who can sail whenever we wish, whether it be June or January. |

If you had understood my comments about the "cost" of Setanta, then you wouldn't have to wait more than 6-9 months! You don't *have* to accept "stepping stones". It's entirely your choice!
