EAT MY WAKE, LOSERS!
I already own one of the better boats here! But now I'm soon to have the VERY
best sailing vessel in this group! A 1993 C&C 34XL (36 feet). Since we won't race her, I'll re-install her genset keep the AC/heater installed. I'll enjoy her brand new Ray Radar, top of the line color Garmin chartplotter and hyrdo' below decks autopilot. Her suit of mostly recent (5) racing sails will be fun, and then there are her hardly used cruising sails (4). Down below is a new 17 inch flat panel TV with DVD and surround sound! The interior is practically untouched and in mint condition! We also like the swim platform that lowers with the press of a button and all of the instruments including radar, repeated at the pedestal! Good lord! All that and she's sleek and pretty! Can I used Loco's Express 30 as a mooring ball? Can I use Neal's Coronado as a dinghy? Can I use Scott's Sad-el-man as....anything? http://www.cncphotoalbum.com/brochur...+/34+b2p10.jpg http://www.cncphotoalbum.com/brochur...+/34+b1p01.jpg How's that, Thom? Good form? Capt RB |

Enjoy...for NOW!!! I do enjoy my fine yacht. And, I enjoy her 24/7 which is more that ANYONE else here can claim. I've spent more time on the water in the past 15 years than EVERYBODY who posts to this group PUT TOGETHER. S.Simon |

more that ANYONE else here can claim. I've spent more time on the water in the past 15 years than EVERYBODY who posts to this group PUT TOGETHER. The above is entirely correct. Being happy with the boat you have is key, no matter how expensive or modest. Compared to the rest of the world, we are all very lucky to have boats at all! Only folks like Loco, Steve, Scotty, Skitchy and Donal get upset by someone having a "better" boat. Sadly, someone will always have a better boat, if viewed through their narrow vision. That's why my post will upset them so. It's really sad. Congrats on your boat and the mature perspecitive allowing you to enjoy her completley. A fine example indeed. RB |

Only folks like Loco, Steve, Scotty, Skitchy and Donal get upset by someone having a "better" boat. How would you know that we would get upset if you had a better boat? You've been the proud owner of several old, cheap boats. Each one was nothing more than a "stepping stone" for you. You've only had "Alien" for a few months, and you are already looking forward to your next boat. It seems to me that there is only one person here, who is so dissatisfied with his vessel, that he envies other peoples' boats. That person is you, Bob. The reason for your unhapiness is clear. You are unhappy because you sail on an old, cheap "stepping stone". Regards Donal -- |
