Another Fine Day...
Thinking further, if you wanted to duplicate the sound in the old movie
theatres, then tube would be the way to go indeed, but this hardly applies to "Chicago" (the film, sorry for the missunderstanding but when I think of Chicago, movies do not come to mind, guess I'm dating myself) Exactly, which is why multiple amps and preamps are common in better systems.
