Looks like Juan is heading our way (Halifax, Nova Scotia) as a cat1
hurricane. Current path varies from model to model. Some models take it south of Halifax and others take it north of Halifax. A little nudge to the south and we could get the strongest winds. Hurricane Hortense was the last one to make landfall roughly 50 km north in 1996 (?) Noticed some deeper convection working its way around the eye feature on the last video loop. This could get REAL interesting. |
