Right you are Nutsy. Stay moored till it passes.

Sounds almost like Haggy is in the Eye. The wind should start Easting
on her, then south and that should take her to the next surge and she
should be passed it

You didn't see another boat because good sailors don't invite
disaster by taking their vessels into such conditions.

And yet, people *still* climb mountains.

Gusts to 40 thus far, or so I'm told. May be above 50 later
| tonight, so I'll probably make another trip over there at around 4 am.

For gawds sake Bob... I've sailed 40 miles from Mahone Bay to Prospect in
worse conditions than that!
what a friggin wimp!

Your boat sticks out of the slip?

Are you stern in or
are you afraid of other boats hitting you in the slip?

Protect the stern from other boats. When I read comments from Mooron, I

have
zero confidence in the boating skills of others.

Your boat sticks out of the slip?

No, but my boat is IN the slip, wide enough for a loose boat to bounce in. A
fender off the stern is a good idea.

We all get some bad luck in our lives.
RB

Yes, but yours seems endless.

Really?...I have a better boat than you, better looking wife, and more cash and
prospects! I'm also younger!
If I have "bad luck" then you have NONE!

Bwahahahahaha!
