I wish you'd stop bringing up DSK. I enjoy the group much
more with him gone.

That's because he's a sailor and your not. He exposes your lack of knowledge
like I do.

Shame on you, Neal!!

What has happened to you? Is the isolation of living alone, now that
you have retired, made you a bitter loner?

I think, just maybe, you need some time ashore among other people. Your
"Gunne Syndrome" has gotten much to large. You're losing touch with
reality!!! Snap out of it!!! Get a Room in a Boarding House with a nice
Landlady. Get back among people, like when you went to work. Make
contact with other humans and for your own good try to find out Who the
Hell you really are!!

You were talking about getting a SLIP. Do it. Get one in an active
Marina and GET A LIFE.

Join a yacht club. Even a Pot Luck Club. They will welcome you. You'll
have real people to talk to. We are just Post Boxes. We're a poor
substitute for flesh and blood

Neal, you have changed. You were fun. You were full of yourself.
Opinionated but there was a niceness about that character. I want that
person back

"I'LL DRINK TO THAT!" but it will be bitter until I see my old Buddy
back

Very effective writing style, huh?

English is a remarkable language. American English is
the main reason the U.S.A. is such a superior country.
English facilitates diversity and original thought. Unlike
French, for example, which stifles creativity, English conveys
so much about the writer depending upon how well he or
she can wield the instrument and is easily tailored to create
mood, personality and character impressions which may or
may not reflect reality. No other language is so well-adapted
for theatre of the mind.

Sorry Old Thom, some movies you like and some you don't.
They cannot all have 'three thumbs up'. That's life. Those which
cast in a more positive light that which came before simply
enhance one's appreciation of the ramifications of time passing.

S.Simon - a writer first, a sailor second; equally excellent at both

Well, at least he realizes he's equally bad at both things, although
he expresses it in an awkward way.

Haggy,

I wasn't worry so mush about the wind as I was about the tide surge. I
remember the height of the piling you guys use for moorings.

Glad you and you animal friends made it thru. Good job.

Thanks Thom. We had a little post storm excitement yesterday when the
boatyard van caught fire and burned to the ground! I guess water got in
somewhere it shouldn't have...
