Has anyone here ever done a hurricane in a slip?

No, I own a house and if I were you I'd get a hotel room.

Haggy,

Loco does make a good point. I don't know your situation there. Consider
the possibility of flooding or trees down. make sure you have a retreat
to somewhere safe.

Secure your boat as well as you can. Try to make sure it doesn't get
loose and is as safe as you can get it from being hit by another boat
that may get loose

That is where I've seen most of the damage done. By other boats and
piers braking loose and blowing down on others Down wind.

Haggy, there isn't much you can do about it. Make your boat a secure as
you can. Allow for extra high tide and then Get To Hell Out of there.
When its' over cross your fingers and go back and check. out.
The force of a Hurricane is more than a mortal can handle at it's
heigth. Stay clear

Annapolis looks like 25 years ago, all the big boats are gone!
Slips are empty, heck whole marinas are empty. In 13 years I've never seen
this town take a storm this serious.
