Funny, you posted the same hat I did. (only mine picture was better, of
course)

Now *please* give us all a big laugh and show us what you look like in
fag hat, okay? My mental image of you just went down the toliet...not
that it hasn't been heading that way for quite some time anyway.

Donal, I've lived on the waterfront or no more than two blocks from it
all my life.
I've biult canoes from old corrugated iron filling the holes and seams
with tar scabbed from the roadside on hot summer days. Fished with a
Eucalypt branch and a piece of string, played at Ozzie Tom Sawyer all
my teen years and then some, rowed hundreds of miles in a clinker
built rowing skiff, built sailed and won in my own dinghys, scows and
yachts from 8 years old (yes, I built a Manly Junior dinghy at 8 with
help from my grandfather, a master builder and carpenter of renown
here in Oz).....

I guess you have to buy and XXXL Greek Captain's hat for your swollen
head? guffaw

Bobsprit didn't even know *why* I asked about the time of HW!!!!!

You mean, in the case of nav error, you'd rather make it with more

water.

No!

Well what do you mean?

Bob said that there were shoals around.

Why do you require a flood tide?

I don't. Furthermore, at neaps I suspect that P. Jeff is a doddle at any
state of the tide.

I've no idea which way the entrance faces.

Hmm even after looking at the online charts....Interesting!

There is a misunderstanding here. I haven't seen a proper chart.

Uh oh! You are calling *me* a daysailor??

It's time for a reality check, Bob.

Bwaaaahahahahahhahaaa!
So you do sail after sunset?

Yes. It can be difficult to do a 26 hour sail in daylight in the English
Channel.

anyone with some time and a boat to blow around in is comfortably well
off, IMHO.

Do you have a job Scout??? I haven't worked for a year. Wanna please remind
me how "comfortable" I am sailing in my boat?

| You've got it....Mooron thinks it's all about disposable

Oh please.... condescension from some self proclaimed millionaire falls way
short of a bottle of rum on the table. It's friggin' amazing how shallow and
self serving these criminally rich people can be.

We don't get tested up here Scout... it's not illegal!

Job?... I'm in Nova Scotia lad... line ups for a pump jockey position. The
fact I even made an interview on the last submission for work with over 200
applicants speaks volumes. I'm negotiating a contract for site supervisor on
a 10 project/ 6 month term in the Northwest Territories for extremely remote
area work in minus 40c temps for this winter.

You do understand I'm currently caring for my parents and not at liberty to
leave until my brother moves into his house next door to assume the
responsibility I shouldered for the last few years. I can't leave until
November.

Man but you guys are a callous lot! Well go ahead and join Ozzy in gloating
at my current fiscal predicament.... meanwhile I have to survey a lot in
exchange for borrowing a splitter to junk 4 cords of wood for the winter. I
wish I could go sailing today since it's a beautiful day. I don't have that
option.
