Default Venus is Hot because . . .

Wrong, sweetie! Venus is hot not because of volcanoes but
because it's closer to the sun and has suffered runaway
greenhouse effect.

http://starryskies.com/solar_system/..._venus_hot.htm
says:

"Spacecraft that have reached the surface have found temperatures
of 470C (878F). These harsh conditions are mostly due to Venus
being 30% closer to the Sun. Venus receives twice as much solar
heating however. This apparently never allowed water to condense
and therefore to form oceans. Without oceans there was no effective
way to absorb carbon dioxide."

Give it up Katy. You're cute as hell but a dummy when it comes
to scientific stuff.

People never used to own one Rover, always 2. That way there was one to
drive while the other was being repaired.

I used to own a Range Rover......

Well, yes, I had this sort of notion of how dumb he was, but he just keeps
pushing the envelope.

It's always good to have a confirmation from something which
