Are you suggesting that there is no frostbiting in LIS? Or, are you
suggesting that every boat the sails in a frostbite series is dry sailed? -- ---- Steve S/V Pony Express "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... Hey, bob, FYI, frost bite racing is done in sailboats, in the water. Sorry, Steve, you've got no argument. Only a handful of boats sail here after Oct 31st. I was 100% right. By late November it would be unusual to spot two sailboats in a week. RB |

Are you suggesting that there is no frostbiting in LIS? Or, are you
suggesting that every boat the sails in a frostbite series is dry sailed? Claiming that people sail the sound in winter because of the hardcore racers is like saying people swim at Coney Island because the Polar Bear club swims in January. Sailing ends on the sound by late october. Period. If I take a pic of the Sound ANYWHERE in November, you might see one sailboat. Might! I was right. You are wrong. Care to make a wager? RB |

If you take a picture in November and see one sailboat, then it would be
safe to say that sailing doesn't *end* in October. I will wager your whole pathetic existence. If there is more than one sailboat sailing on LIS in November, you simply disappear. Do you accept? -- ---- Steve S/V Pony Express "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... Are you suggesting that there is no frostbiting in LIS? Here's my original post:
Nope...plenty of time to sail, but not enough days in a row to make the trip. Season ends here October 31. And that's a fact. Sorry. You lose again. I'll be doing two short transports in November on the LIS, so I'll get you those pics anyway. RB |

If sailing season ends in October, how is it that frostbiting, which is done
on sailboats, continues through December? Is frostbiting not sailing? Maybe you consider any sailboat racing not to be sailing? -- ---- Steve S/V Pony Express "Bobsprit" wrote in message ...
