Thanks Thom. Good eye! I got tired of the rotten wood a couple of years ago and made the seats/locker hatches out of 3/4" Star Board® which is a plastic guaranteed for life. Makes one wonder why the hatches weren't made out of a suitable material in the first place. Expensive as hell but worth it. I will never have to maintain rotting wood hatches again. Between the two hatches there is 250 dollars of plastic. Thus doubling the value of your vessel. (including the cost to have them custom cut and beveled. What, don't you know how to cut a bevel? DSK |
